I interviewed about 5-6 different realtors but I knew Darlene and Lee were the ones to help me purchase my first home. I couldn't script a better chemistry! Lee and Darlene are the very epitome of "above and beyond." They’ll walk you through the home buying process, connect you with anyone you need along the way, point out details in the places you visit that you’d likely miss (because I certainly did), and once you utter the words, “This is the one!” they’ll jump into high gear and won’t rest until you’re walking into your dream home. And even then, their work isn’t finished! Both Lee and Darlene have seemingly made it a personal mission of theirs to follow up every week since I’ve moved to make sure everything is tip-top with my home and continue to offer help whenever they can. And all of this says nothing of their charming, inviting personalities and occasional humorous "couples banter.” It’s quite clear that Lee and Darlene have a passion for the home buying process and the people they work with, and I’m confident they’ll be the only team I come back to when I’m considering another real-estate move in the future.

I had only been in Atlanta for a couple of years, and my rent kept going up. I decided to start looking for places to buy online without an agent, just in case I found a great opportunity. For months I looked, and I couldn't find anything that suited my needs or my budget. Also, I wasn't extremely familiar with the area, and so my search became somewhat exhausting and discouraging. I had almost given up on my search when a friend introduced me to Lee and Darlene, and within a few short weeks, I was closing on my very first home. I can be very particular and indecisive, but Lee and Darlene seemed to intuitively know what I wanted. I am in a community now where I feel very much at home, and I love my place. It fits me perfectly, it’s great for my commute, and I definitely wouldn’t have found it on my own! I couldn’t imagine a smoother first time home buying experience. We met Lee and Darlene after we had our house on the market three times with other agents and it had not sold. We wanted their professional opinion as to why our home had not sold. They told us the hard truth and we then entrusted them to get their contractors to work and make the repairs and updates that would be necessary to get it sold this time. Their brokerage, Compass, has an amazing program called Compass Concierge that will pay for all the upfront costs. This was extremely helpful for my wife and me as we no longer lived in the home. Lee and Darlene got our entire house repainted, repaired the pool, added new landscaping, and had our home professionally staged. It looked amazing and our home sold within 23 days! Lee and Darlene were hard-working, pleasant, and very creative with the sale of our house. They had a creative plan that allowed us to make $100,000 worth of improvements (which was deducted from our payoff at closing) to our house which really helped us to get a better price and sell the house quickly. They made suggestions like painting our house, making roof repairs, some remodel hints and we agreed with most of their suggestions. The money was paid back to them when we sold our house. This was a real differentiator from the normal real estate process and showed a real commitment on their part.
